Description:

The Yotascale™ software provides proactive notification for anomaly detection to alert teams of issues that need attention. Currently, the software supports sending anomaly alerts on the following channels:

  • Slack
  • Email

Slack channels should be defined for each context so as to better target anomaly communications to the correct teams. There is a default Slack channel defined to catch all anomaly communications for those perspectives without defined Slack channels.

Multiple emails can be specified to receive alerts by entering comma separated email addresses.  


Steps to add default webhook urlURL:

  1. Navigate to the user settings view by clicking you user name your initials in the top right of the page
  2. Click "Account Settings" from the drop-down menu
  3. Click the "Integrations" tab
  4. Add "Slack webhook urlWebhook URL" and then press "Test and save changes"Save Changes"

Steps to add the default Slack channel (if already in account settings go to step 3):

  1. Navigate to the user settings view by clicking you user name your initials in the top right of the page.
  2. Click "Account Settings" from the drop-down menu
  3. Click "Anomaly Detection" tab
  4. Add slack Slack channel in the input field and press "Send Sample Notification" to verify that you have configured correctly.
  5. Press "Save Channel" button to save changes

Steps to specify email communication or add Slack integration for AD Perspectivesspecific Anomaly Detection perspectives:

  1. Select "Cost and then "Analytics" tab from the top side navigation
  2. Open the perspective action drop-down for which you want to enable the integration
  3. Select "Manage configuration" from the drop down
  4. Add slack webhook url Click on your organization's name in the upper left-hand side of the screen.
  5. Select the context that will generate Anomaly Detections
  6. Now click on the three dots Image Added that are in the upper right-hand corner of the screen
  7. Pick "Edi Context"
  8. Finally, select "Alerts & Notifications"
  9. Add Slack webhook URL or for default webhook URL leave this as is
  10. Add slack Slack channel for that perspective. (
    1. This can be a group channel or a person-specific communication by entering the "@" and the persons name.
    2. Currently email is not supported for anomaly detection
    )
  11. Press "Update" button to save changes
