A step-by-step guide to find untagged resources
Prerequisites:
- None
Description:
Good tag hygiene is critical to accurate cost reporting. Yotascale™ software provides the ability to identify untagged AWS resources and then define auto-tagging policies to properly tag those resources.
An example would be to find all untagged EBS volumes. To find these you would do the following:
Steps to complete:
- Navigate to the Tag Management screen
- Go to the "Search" tab
- Click on the link Show Advanced Search Options
- Create a new saved search with the following parameters
- resource types = EBS volumes
- Resource filter = Untagged
- Click on Search
