A step-by-step guide to configuring Slack webhook integration setup

Prerequisites: 

  • Connect all AWS accounts


Description: 

A Slack webhook address is required in order to use Slack to communicate anomaly alerts to your organization.


Steps to complete:

  1. Click on  your initials in the top right of the page
  2. Then click "Account Settings" from the drop-down menu
  3. From the sub-navigation pane select "Integrations"
  4. You can find the appropriate Slack webhook here: https://slack.com/signin?redir=%2Fservices%2Fnew%2Fincoming-webhook
  5. Or if already known simply populate the appropriate webhook address in the field
